Lagrein is known for its aromas of black raspberries and plums with spices such as cinnamon or nutmeg. On the palate it can be a little lighter than its color might lead the taster to expect. It’s rustically elegant taste combined with an agile acidity makes it a great food wine. On the tongue Lagrein delivers raspberries, cranberries and some earthy qualities. It goes great with food.
